The interior of the Mustang has changed alot over the course of time (as obvious as that might sound). Its gone from plain and simple with few luxuries (compared to now) to innovative and pretty complex to some with several luxuries. The interior on this Mustang holds a bunch of "goodies". 6-Disc CD Changers with MP3 capability, side airbags, power windows/locks/mirrors, and many other enjoyable "toys". Although the exterior is based off of the classic designs, much of the interior is new. Besides the gauges and the top of the dashboard, the rest of it is just "square-cirle" looking designing. The steering wheel tries to add some classic touch to the car, but doesn't look much like the old steering wheels.
     The interior of the V6 has some fairly nice accessories put into it A nicely put together 3-spoke tilt steering wheel, a single-disc CD player, AM/FM radio, dual power side mirrors, power locks and windows, cloth bucket seats, air conditioning, front floor mats, and front airbags all come standard with all Mustangs. With the Premium package of the V6, a Shaker 500 audio system, 6-disc CD Changer with MP3 capability, six-way power adjustable driver seat, and leather seats are added onto the car. The Options include a $450 Interior Upgrade Package which adds many special features; Bright-polished 6-gauge instrument cluster with My Color feature, bright register vents with satin-aluminum finish on steering wheel, charcoal perforated front door panel inserts, door latches, door scuff plates, and leather-wrapped steering wheel.
     The GT's interior also has some nice accessories. The deluxe version of the GT includes much of the same standard items that the V6 has. The cloth bucket seats, single-disc CD player, MyColor custom instrument panel, and leather-wrapped tilt steering wheel come with the deluxe package along with other V6 version standard items. The premium edition of the GT adds a six-disc CD changer with MP3 capability, Shaker 500 stereo, and Aberdeen leather-trimmed embossed sport bucket seats. The options on the GT include: active anti-theft system, Shaker 1000 stereo, interior color enhancement, and side airbags. *Other options can be found on the Ford Fleet site or the pricing press release at the bottom of this page.
