You're looking at a gorgeous 1968 Shelby GT 500 Muscle Car. This car is well documented. It has 64,266 documented miles. It still has the original build sheet and a MartiAutoWorksReport. It's in the Shelby Registry. The previous owner was a stickler for originality. In the mid-90's the previous owner rebuilt the motor, transmission, rearend, brakes, front end, air conditioning, carb, alternator, pump, rear springs, and shocks. Afterwards, this car was driven less than 2000 mi8les. During this time the car has been meticulously maintained. Also, was repainted the original color (Gold Metallic in 1992). there were only 270 painted this color. This Shelby still has the original 428 Cobra Jet 4V engine. Also, glass, chrome, wheels, lights, lenses, bumpers, emblems, gauges, wipers, mirrors, handles, console, hood latches, seat belts, radio and antenna are all original. What makes this car special is that it still has its original interior. The seats are black leather knitted decor bucket seats. They're all in outstanding condition. It's very rare to find a Shelby with these many options; visibility group, wheel lip moldings, sport deck seat, power steering, power front disc brakes, tilt away steering column, air conditioner- selectaire, am radio, tinted windows, tach and trip odometer, You'd have to travel back in time to get anything much more original than this. It has no rattles. This car runs and drives like new.
