This 1999 Mustang Saleen S281 #334 is truly one-of-a-kind. The first feature admired is the custom paint. It's called "Extreme Rainbow". It is the only coupe with this paint that year. There were a total of 373 Saleens produced in 1999. This Saleen was specially picked by BASF for footage for a couple of their television commercials. It is registered with Team Saleen on their Saleen Owner's Registry. This is a one owner vehicle and has a little over 18,000 actual miles. It has won over 50 First Place and Best of Show trophies at National, Regional and Local shows. It won Best of Show at the Saleen 5th Annual Car Show. It has been signed by Steve Saleen twice -- once on the dashboard and the other on the NOS bottle. There have been over 50 documented modifications to this vehicle including the Makavelli Zaint wheels that were specially custom painted by them to match the car, horsepower to the rear wheels is 307 and 355lbs of torque, competition stereo read out of bass is at 140.6 decibels. This Saleen has obviously been well taken care of. The modifications have been completed in stages to ensure quality work and preserve the integrity of the uniqueness of this vehicle.
