Authenticity certified by Carroll Shelby as "The best re-creation of my original production." Glovebox signed by Carroll Shelby on March 9, 2004 after his review of the completed project. Four originals were built in 1966 and not sold to the public. Ground-up build with Mustang and Shelby owner's manual signed by Carroll Shelby. First Place trophy winner and featured at the San Diego Automotive Museum. Displayed and maintained at Shelby Showroom in Las Vegas from 2005 to present. Guardsman's Blue with Wimbledon White stripes from Seiken's paint, one-piece fiberglass hood with integral scoop, Klik pins, outside mirrors, Ford rotunda bullet, original design 14x6 aluminum 10-spoke wheels and non-functional fiberglass side scoops. All chrome pieces including bumpers, bezels, etc., done in triple show-chrome. GT rear valence with exhaust tip cutouts, powdercoated correct grille with offset Mustang logo, 3-M clear protective removable covering on front of hood, lower front valence and lower side panels for stone/debris damage protection. Robbins top with glass zip-out, folding window, Cobra gas cap, electric antenna, correct Ford Carlite tinted windshield, steering wheel, Mustang GT deep-dish plastic wood-grained with chrome GT 350 center cap, Cobra 9000 RPM tachometer, mounted with bracket on top of dashboard, Blue competition seat belts, 5-point restraints, roll bar powdercoated with custom kickers and removable center bar, 140 MPH speedometer and custom Auto Sound Mustang AM/FM/CD. Convertible top assembly powdercoated and hydraulic. Seats are Flofit custom pony Recaro-type. Original-style under-dash air conditioner with Sanden compressor, hipo choke cable, under-dash fuel pump cutoff switch for safety and theft-deterrence. Seasoned 302 block, 347cid Stroker, correct Cobra aluminum hi-rise manifold and Cobra 7 1/2 qt. finned aluminum oil pan with baffles, Tri-Y ceramic coated headers with Flowmaster '50' mufflers, stainless steel exhaust tips and Tremec 5-speed transmission.
