1965 Ford Mustang Convertble

1965 Ford Mustang Convertble K Code

Lot: 962

This Mustang GT convertible is a factory "K" Code car that arguably ranks among the finest in existence. It was previously owned by Gunnar and Matthew Nelson, the famous gear-head sons of the late music icon, Ricky Nelson. The car has been the recipient of a meticulously executed frame-off, MCA concours-quality restoration to the absolute highest standards. The original engine was rebuilt at this time with factory LeMans connecting rods. It is equipped with the top loader 4-speed transmission, all the proper GT equipment, Pony interior, factory dual point distributor, high rise aluminum intake manifold, styled steel wheels with white wall bias ply tires, and even factory air conditioning. This "K" Code convertible has won numerous awards, has appeared on SPEED in a segment taped at the Barrett-Jackson offices, was profiled in "Phoenix Life" magazine, and was the subject of a 3-page color feature article in "Mustangs Illustrated".
