This is a compilation of two video clips released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration of the 2010 Ford Mustang being tested for front and side impacts. If you haven't heard the 2010 Mustang scored a five star rating in both frontal and side impact tests which is the highest rating the NHTSA offers. The 2005 Mustang on the other hand scored a five star rating in front impact tests but only scored four stars in the side impact test. “We’ve made many upgrades to the new Mustang that contributes not only to the car’s safety, but also to its driving enjoyment thanks to a stiffer structure.” said Steve Kozak, Ford Chief Engineer for Safety Systems
