| 2010 Steeda Q350 Mustang Unveiled |
The annual SEMA Show in Las Vegas has always been the host of many initial unveilings of concept, pre-production, and production vehicles and this year was no exception. Steeda chose this show to reveal the new 2010 Steeda Q350 Mustang for the very first time.
Suffice to say the red candy metallic Steeda Q350 stole the show when Pat Schiavoni, Ford Motor Company's Executive Director of Design proudly awarded the Steeda Q350 with the coveted Ford Motor Company "Outstanding Design Achievement Award" acknowledging the design achievements that set the Steeda Q-Series apart from all others in attendance. The Q350 was designed in secret over a 10 month period with a critical eye, not only for a beautiful design, but also more importantly for all out performance. The new Steeda Q Series provides a new level of functional performance with unique styling from front to back.
On the exterior the Steeda Q Series sports their new front facia that has been designed, engineered, and wind tunnel tested to provide increased downforce at speed, and also to contribute to front brake cooling. For those track days optional front oil coolers are available for the engine and power steering to ensure that those components always operate within a key temperature range. At the rear a new Steeda decklid mounted wing has been fine tuned to provide significant downforce without robbing the vehicle of top end speed. A rear air diffuser ensures that air exiting from beneath the vehicle flows smoothly without causing undue speed robbing turbulence.
On the interior, the 2010 Q350 is equipped with a bevy of racing bred performance and luxury upgrades including an alcantara covered sport steering wheel that ensures you have a firm grip in the most demanding of conditions. The Steeda Sport Seat option is upholstered in premium leather and molded with enhanced side and seat bolsters to support you through the most challenging of high speed turns. The door sills are adorned with backlit Steeda personalized sill plates to boast that you are driving a Mustang unlike any other.
From a performance perspective the Steeda Q350 has been engineered to blow the doors off the competition, as I'm sure you would expect nothing less from Steeda Autosports. In the engine compartment the naturally aspirated 4.6L V8 uses an all new Steeda cold air intake with their "Cool Tube" technology which has been designed to maximize the cool air flowing into the Steeda tuned engine. The powertrain enhancements do not stop there, other enhancements include a stainless steel cat back exhaust system, 90mm MAF meter, and underdrive pulley set.
The Q350 chassis also underwent a major transformation in the suspension department to greatly enhance its road manners and ensure it's road gripping performance that every Steeda vehicle is noted for. Suspension modifications include Steeda performance lowering springs, swaybars, aluminum lower control arms and much more! In the wheel and tire department the Steeda Q350 was shod with lightweight Steeda Spyder wheels which are wrapped with the best performing street tire on the market today, the famed Nitto NT05.

Although pricing has yet to be set, the 2010 Q350 will be available for sale in the first quarter of next year at select Steeda Ford dealers nationwide. The Q-Series magic does not end with the Q350. Steeda is planning the reveal of a supercharged Steeda Q Series at the Los Angeles Auto Show in early December when the exciting new 2010 Steeda Q550 Streetfighter series will have it's official world debut.
