This car has the 428 Cobra Jet engine equipped with the Ram Air shaker unit, the bullet proof C6 Cruise-o-Matic transmission, 8-track player, factory air conditioning, nodular rear end and rim blow steering wheel. This outstanding car is matching numbers except for the color. Originally Meadowlark Yellow, it was restored to a beautiful 1969 Mach I Candy Apple Red. Tons of documentation traces this car all the way back to its new car delivery including the original factory invoice, 20 year owner history, an original title from 15 years ago, owner's manual, a sales brochure picturing this car on the cover and a Deluxe Marti Report. There are very few comparable "R" Code big block Mustangs done to this level on original rust-free sheet metal with this kind of documentation. The car has been driven less than 500 miles since it was finished and is truly outstanding as evidenced by having recently won 1st place, Best of Show at Ford Lords, one of the largest shows in the Northeast.
