| 2011 Shelby GT500 Ordering and Pricing |
It appears that the official order guide for the yet to be revealed 2011 Shelby GT500 has been leaked onto the net. As expected, the order guide reveals that the 2011 GT500 will indeed have an all new aluminum cylinder block. Other notable upgrades include standard HID headlights, Electric Power Assist Steering System (EPAS), standard MyKey, 19" forged wheels now standard on the convertible, and integrated "Spotter Mirror" side view mirrors.
Along with the order guide is the newly released pricing for the 2011 GT500 which will be $49,495 for the coupe and $54,495 for the convertible. A newly added SVT performance package which includes 3.73 rear gears, painted 19" front, and 20" rear wheel/tire package, tuned springs and rear shocks, Gurney Flap style rear spoiler, and more will cost an additional $3,495. Other options include a glass roof ($1,995), Shaker 1000 audio ($1,295), and electronics package ($2,340). According to the order guide paint colors Torch Red and Brilliant Silver Metallic have been replaced with Race Red and Ingot Silver Metallic. There has been no official release date announced for this vehicle, stay tuned.
