| Mustang Tops Camaro In Sales For May |
Ever since the fifth generation Chevrolet Camaro began production last April it has been besting the Ford Mustang in monthly sales figures. Although the Mustang was still being ranked higher in many reviews and had just gotten an exterior redesign, the entirely new Camaro with its higher output engines was just too much for potential buyers to pass up; until now that is. In May 2010 the Mustang has turned things around. With its new higher horsepower, fuel efficient motors the Mustang has topped the Camaro in sales with 10,225 Mustangs being sold compared to just 8,931 Camaros being driven off the lots.
Although the Camaro has been beating the Mustang in monthly sales the Mustang, which was for sale for three months extra, still won the award for the most overall sales in 2009, 66,623 Mustangs to 61,618 Camaros. Challenger sales were a measly 25,852!
