| Garth Brooks Teams With Carroll Shelby For Charity |

World renown car builder Carroll Shelby is teaming up with country music superstar Garth Brooks to auction off a 2011 Shelby GT350 Mustang, serial number 2, with all proceeds going to benefit Brooks' Teammates For Kids Foundation.
Over the past month The Garth Brooks Teammates for Kids Foundation have been taking phone bids for the GT350. Now the top three bidders are being invited to attend the live auction on July 16, 2010 for the final bidding and a live performance by Garth Brooks. The winning bidder not only receives the GT350 but also a VIP tour of the Shelby American facility in Las Vegas, Nevada.
At the start of production earlier this year Shelby put serial #350 on the auction block at the Barrett Jackson event in Palm Beach, Florida. That vehicle sold for $137,500. As of the writing of this article the top bid for serial #2 was an amazing $150,000.
