| 2012 Boss 302 Mustang Runs 11 Second Quarter Mile Time |
It was clearly just a matter of time before some enthusiastic new 2012 Boss 302 owner took one to the local drag strip. While this isn't the first we're hearing of the new Boss Mustangs being run down the quarter mile it is clearly the quickest we've seen so far. Recently Edmunds Inside Line thrashed a new Boss to a 1/4 mile time of 12.7 @ 113.4 mph in their Ultimate Mustang Track Test. This car however, with nothing more than a set of drag radials, easily beat that time with an amazing 11.72 @ 117.21 mph! Not only that but the owner of this car also ran it with a set of street tires, pulling off a very quick 12.36 @ 116.40 mph! You can see the video of that run here.
