| Video: Boss 302 Mustang Runs 10 Second Quarter Mile |
Earlier this month we posted a video of Vaughn Gittin Jr drifting the brand new Boss 302 Mustang owned by Lethal Performance out of Wellington, FL. Well the guys at Lethal are at it again with that smoking hot Mustang, this time running the world's first 10 second quarter mile time in a new Boss 302! Here is what Lethal had to say about the run:
"We've been making sure to stay busy with our new Boss. We've already had Vaughn Gittin jr drift it with less than 1000 miles on it. This time Jeremy Martorella of UPR Products got the chance to take it down the drag strip for the first time with just under 1400 miles on it."
"Our second run of the evening yielded us a 10.64 at 124.24 mph with a 1.51 60ft. The car hooks great and Jeremy was very impressed with how fast it was. He was shifting the car at 7800-7900rpms. For our tire and wheel setup we're running a set of Bogart Bolted GT's along with some Hoosier front runners and Mickey Thompson 15" ET Drags."
"As far as the rest of the mods go unfortunately we're not going to disclose that right now as you'll be able to read all about it in a up coming issue of 5.0 Mustang Magazine compliments of Steve Turner."
