|Vaughn Gittin Jr Building Iridium Edition Mustang For Bosch
Word through the grapevine is that Bosch Auto Parts and world champion drifter Vaughn Gittin Jr are teaming up to build a one off Iridium Edition Mustang RTR. We first heard about the car this morning through the Bosch Facebook page. Apparently Bosch is producing a new iridium tip spark plug and has asked Vaughn to build them a special Iridium Edition Mustang to celebrate the launch of the new product. While we haven't heard when the car will be unveiled, what we do know is that it'll be given away to one very lucky fan through a sweepstakes being held on Facebook.
For the time being details of the Bosch Iridium Edition Mustang RTR are being kept under wraps but Vaughn did leak a few specs in a recently published video. Vaughn says in the video that they're planning on starting with an all black Mustang and using a set of HRE P40 wheels which are the same used on the current Mustang RTR. However throughout the video there are quick renderings shown of the car which lead us to believe it will probably be painted an almost mirror like metallic blue color with matching blue chrome wheels. Sadly no other details are available about the car at this time though you can get a better idea of what they're planning by watching the video below. Stay tuned!
