| Hennessey Unleashes 650hp Boss 302 Mustang Supercharger Package |
Although he may be best known for his outrageous Dodge Viper transformations, as of late auto tuner John Hennessey has been expanding his offerings to many different make and model vehicles. In December Hennessey revealed the Venom 600R package for the Shelby GT500 Mustang which bumped the car's output from 550hp to just over 600hp. While an increase of 50hp+ is pretty impressive it doesn't quite live up to his latest offering for the 2012-2013 Mustang Boss 302. Thanks to an Eaton TVS2300 supercharger configured to pump out 10psi of boost the new Hennessey HPE650 performance package sends power levels through the roof. With the included upgrades Hennessey is able to muster an astounding 650 horsepower from the Boss 302's 5.0L V8, an increase of over 200hp!
According to Hennessey the HPE650 Boss 302 upgrade package will cost $15,995 which includes professional installation, dyno tuning, serialized dash and engine plaques and a 3 year / 36,000 mile warranty.
