|First 2013 Shelby GT500 Test Mule Pictures Released
It was recently revealed that a Shelby GT500 slated to cross the chopping block at this week's Barrett Jackson auction in Scottsdale is one of the original test mules used to develop the powertrain of the 2013 Shelby GT500. Although the car has yet to be officially revealed to the public one website was able to snap a few pics of it for all to enjoy.
According the the website, MotorCityProject.com, the GT500 test mule was the vehicle Ford used for endurance testing of the GT500's new powertrain at Sebring. To maintain the collectability of the vehicle SVT has chosen to keep all evidence of its pedigree intact including the marking tape used during testing and the mismatched front and rear bumpers. To add even more value to the vehicle the entire SVT team has signed the inside of the decklid. More pics of this car are available at the link below.
