BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The photo to the left means alot to Holly Clark and
many others who have found her story to be an inspiration of sorts. After one day in 1985
when she pulled down her "lost" father's stuff from an attic, she was led on a
journey that was guided by the sketches, drawings, and journal entries of the man who she
calls "Dad." Early in her journey, she was shocked to find that her dad held a
large part in the creation of a car she had admired since she was a child. The MUSTANG. On
many of his drawings, pre-dating the release of any Mustang concept car, there was the
word "MUSTANG" slapped across the paper. Except in most of the drawings she
searched through, she didn't recognize the design. The bulky hood and fierce "muscle"
design wasn't there. Instead, she saw an aerodynamic machine that had a much more sporty,
road racing appearance. She saw the Mustang I Prototype.
