This prototype was actually made a year before the Mach 1 Concept. Why? I don't have a clue...if you know, please inform me. Anyway, as you can see, this concept was a complete departure from the Mustang design at the time. Just like some of the other mid-to-late 60's prototypes, not much is known about it.
