| 1984 Ford Mustang |
1984 began the basic setup for Mustangs leading to 1993. There was the base model, an "L", then there was the "LX" which was a step above it, and then there was the "GT", the top model of the 3. The Mustang now came with some extra available engines to satisfy the devoted pony lovers (and I certainly don't mean little girls here). Adding to this, Ford and its SVO (Special Vehicles Operations) team worked to create the special SVO Mustang which offered many extra goodies, including 4-wheel disc brakes and a turbocharged 2.3 liter.
