1985 saw the deletion of the "L" model. The LX was left as the base model while the GT was the upgraded version with more goodies. The engine options were downgraded to 4, still including the famous 5.0 motor. The SVO model was still available with some modifications. T-Roofs, which were introduced during the latter part of the Mustang II era, still remained an option for `85 and would remain one until `88.
