1993 was the final year for the third generation Mustang. The big ol` horse didn't go out without a bang though. The Cobra and Cobra R were released that year. A new rear spoiler and a special set of wheels along with some other small exterior changes didn't quite make the car all too overwhelming. But that wasn't the focus! The focus was on the higher level of performance. Pumping out 235hp with those new wheels allowing a wider set of tires. Although the new pony didn't have all that much extra kick, it sure was one rare automobile. Only 4,993 were made. Also, the GT's V-8 was downgraded to 205hp. Ford advised us Mustang guys it was because of a change in how they develop horsepower ratings for their vehicles.
