Tim Allen's Mustang Bullitt On Ebay

Postby quick5pnt0 » Sat Apr 02, 2011 12:56 am

Somebody emailed me the other day about this but I'm just getting the time to check it out. Movie and TV star Tim Allen is selling his modified 2008 Mustang Bullitt on ebay. Here is the info on the car from ebay.

ebay wrote:There are many fans of Steve McQueen and Tim Allen is no exception. Tim searched for a extremely well cared for, low mileage, and made no exceptions that it be finished in Dark Highland Green.

This 2008 Bullitt has just over 5900 miles and is in Tim Allen’s collection. If you are looking for an extremely well cared for car that has been maintained to the 10’s, is a limited edition, and has a celebrity pedigree; then this is the car for you.

Over the years Ford has made a limited number of variants and one of their most ionic is the Ford Mustang GT Bullitt edition. This 2008 Dark Highland Green Bulllitt is even colored after Steve McQueens fastback Mustang from the movie Bullitt and is one of only 5773 built. The first factory Mustang open-element air filter which makes its unique exhaust mimics the sound of Steve McQueen's GT 390 Fastback.

The 2008 Bullitts engine programing raises horsepower to 315 (up from 300 on a premium GT). The Bullitt again beats the standard GT with 0-60 times in 4.9-5 seconds versus the standard GT’s at 5.2-5.3 seconds. Ford didn’t make any mistakes and first started with a GT premium car before upgrading it to become a Bullitt edition.

Well if it is owned by a Hollywood personality the car would value twice. The car isn't a hot rod but a modern classic, for sure Tim Allen added some nice touch on the interior to improve its value.
