Yesterday was the first day of the 2012 Barrett Jackson collector car auction in Scottsdale, Arizona. Overall just nine Mustangs crossed the block for a total of $258,500. The highest seller of the day was a candy orange 1967 Fastback which went to its new home for $53,900.

(Prices include 10% buyers fee except with cars sold for charity where the fees are waived)

The second day of the Barrett Jackson collector car auction has concluded with 14 Ford Mustangs going to new homes. The highest selling Mustang of the day was lot 440.1 which sold for $74,800. Today marks the beginning of the Hagerty Fantasy Bid contest where you can win that special GT500 we recently posted about.

The third day of the 2012 Barrett Jackson Scottsdale auction has ended with 10 Mustangs selling for a total of $607,200. The highest seller was a 1968 Shelby GT500E which sold for $242,000.

Day four of the Barrett Jackson 2012 Scottsdale auction concludes with 21 Mustangs sold for a total of $2,001,950. The highest seller of the day was a 1968 Shelby GT500 convertible which went for $220,000. That GT500 was from the collection of Ron Pratte who many may recognize as the man who has purchased some of the most expensive vehicles ever to be sold by Barrett Jackson including a number of Ford Mustang charity cars.

The Galpin SPX 2012 Mustang Boss 429 also cross the block yesterday, going to its new home for $160,00 with all proceeds going to charity.

Yesterday marks the 5th day of the Barrett Jackson collector car auction in Scottsdale. Overall 18 Mustangs sold for a total of $2,925,700. The highest selling Mustang of the day was a 1965 Shelby GT350 which went to its new home for $385,000.

The 2013 Shelby GT500 test mule also crossed the chopping block for $300,000 with the proceeds benefiting charity.

The final day of the Barrett Jackson Scottsdale collector car auction has concluded with just 6 Mustangs selling for a total of $234,175. The highest selling Mustang of the day was a '65 Fastback which sold for $68,200. Overall this week Barrett Jackson sold 78 Mustangs for an amazing $6,482,100.

The biggest surprise of the day was when the 2013 Nascar Sprint Cup Mustang Prototype sold for a mere $28,600.
