A few questions about old Mustangs

Postby Zach9393 » Tue Oct 21, 2008 12:26 am

Okay,

1.which models had FE block engines available in them from the factory?

2.What FE engines were they?

3. were they any different, as in horsepower and torque, as the ones in the full size Fords?

Just wondering..

This webpage has the breakdown of what was offeered in Mustangs 1965-1970. Scroll down to the bottom for the engine info.

I don't know what the horsepower differences - if any - there was between full sized car engines and Mustangs.

thanks. one thing I know: the way my Galaxie is, a little Mustang would cook with a 390.

He's also got a '71 Torino Country Squire Wagon 429 SCJ Drag Pack thats 100% factory stock special ordered that way. I guess Mom needed a grocery getter and he needed a hot rod.
