So what do you think they'll go for? I'm guessing $100K each.

I was wondering the same thing. Usually anything Shelby brings to Barrett Jackson is for his childrens charity but this time the press release didn't mention anything like that. If I hear one way or the other I'll post it here.

Here are the numbers:
-Lee Iacocca Mustang sold for $320,000
-GT500 Super Snake Concept Car sold for $275,000

Ford also brought out the second production 2005 Ford GT, and the second production 2000 Cobra R. The GT sold for $275K but the Cobra R only went for $60,000. I guess the Cobra Rs just haven't gotten to collector status yet. Considering that those things retailed for $54K and most dealers were pushing the prices up much further than that, I think the buyer got one hell of a deal. Word is that both of these cars were used by Ford as test and press vehicles.

Seen that last night. Prudhomme was kicking in a VIP day at the track for the bidder. looks like a buyers market.

Exactly. I thought they were going to kill themselves when that '65 Shelby Cobra only sold for $400k. Supposedly it was "worth" $500K-$700k.
