| Speedo Gears |
Whenever you change the rear end gears to another ratio (e.g. 2.73's to 4.10's) you have to change the speedometer gear too. Why? Because when you change the rear end gears you also change the ratio between how fast the speedo gear is spinning and how fast the car is actually going. Here is a chart to figure out which speedometer gear you will need.
UPDATE: We are looking for information on model years 1999-2005 to add to this chart. If you would like to contribute this info please contact the webmaster.
