These pictures were taken by Chris Trombetta, (Steele@metro.net) He took these pictures which are of
some type of prototype. There is no real way of knowing what this car is, but
Chris claims that the person who was driving the car said that the car had somewhere in
the neighborhood of 460-560 Horsepower, and that this engine will be the production engine
of this car. Its also equipped with a 6 speed transmission. Hard to believe that
Ford's accountants and geeks in white suits would let this one out the door though.
So...Is it the 2001 Cobra? the '00 Cobra R? or what? Chris seems to
believe its the 2001 Cobra....

When we recieved these pictures from Chris T. nobody knew what this car was, but it turns
out that it must have been the 2000 SVT Cobra R prototype. At the time nobody except Ford
knew what the Cobra R looked like because it wasn't unveiled yet .
