Q. What size  headers should I buy?
A. As with many engine mods you don't always want to go with the biggest you can get.  Usually if you only have a slightly modified engine and you are going to keep it that way then you will probably want to go with 1 1/2" headers.  If you have a blower, highly modified engine, or are going to heavily modify the engine in the future then you will want to go with 1 5/8" (or bigger, depending on what you going to do with the car) headers.
Q. To equal length, or not to equal length, that is the question.
A. Although you will get a few more ponies with equal length headers they (in our opinion) aren't worth the extra trouble compared to the un-equal length shorty headers.  Equal length headers are harder to install, and make changing spark plugs harder because of their weird shape.  Usually, the trouble they cause isn't worth the extra 2 or so hp. (that's our $0.02)
Q. Should I get long tube headers, or shorty headers?
A. Obviously its up to you to decide which ones to buy, so we'll give you the pro's and con's of each.
Shorty's are easier to install, and can be used with the stock h-pipe which makes them alot cheaper.  Their only real drawback is that they only add about 6-15hp depending on your combination.
Long tube headers on the other hand usually add more torque and hp then shortys (they have been know to add 25 or more). but are alot harder to install because you have to change the h-pipe to a short h-pipe design.  Since you have to change the h-pipe, long tube headers are more expensive too.
Q. How loud are 2 chamber Flowmaster compared to my stock mufflers? How do they compare to the 3 chamber flowmasters?
A. Of the three (stock, 2 and 3 chamber) the 2 chamber flowmasters are the loudest.  The 3 chamber flowmasters are in-between the two.  So if you're looking for a loud exhaust go with the 2 chambers, if your looking for an exhaust that's louder than stock, but not too loud then go with the 3 chamber's.
In our opinion the 2 chambers are the best sounding, because the 3 chambers aren't loud enough.
Q. I've heard that my engine light will come on if I install on off road h-pipe, is that true?
A. Yes, it is true. Since there are no cats on an offroad h-pipe your computer will be signaled to turn the check engine light on.
