| Some stuff you should know- All fluids should be checked using the proper dip stick, or procedure. Just because the chart above shows that your tranny uses 13.9 quarts, doesn't necessarily mean that you have to put in that specified amount. You have to check and add/remove fluid until the fluid is shown to be at the proper amount on the dip stick. The same goes for all fluids. All oil changes should include an oil filter change, the "Without filter change" specifications were included for reference only. 4.6L Mustang's during 96-98 used an AOD-E automatic transmission, in 99-up the 4.6L Mustang's tranny changed, so be sure to check your owners manual for proper specs.. These specifications were referenced from owner's manuals for specific year cars so all specs may not be accurate and are posted for reference purposes only. Check the owners manual for your specific car. |
