John Bruce aka VNOMOUS is the owner of the emaculate car below. He bought the car in November of '92 after reading about it in an ad in a local newspaper. The 92 Mustang LX was practically brand new and was up for sale as a used car already. It had only 2,230 miles on the odometer and was only 3 months old. It was just bought by a father of four who was being transferred to Colorado and now needed a 4x4.
When John bought the car there wasn't much done to it. The only non-stock thing done to the car at the time was a set of chrome pony rims. After ripping off the ugly mud flaps the previous owner put on the car John started to "Hot Rod" it. The list of mods is pretty stout including a 2 stage NOS 150 hp system.
Before doing anything to the car John brought the "Stang" to Brotherhood Raceway in California, and the car ran a 14.2 @ 98mph. Not bad for a stock stang. After installing all of the mods the car ran its best time...12.5!
Johns LX has also been featured in Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords magazine, 5.0 Mustang magazine, and Orlie's Lowriding magazine. You can also see his car in the March '99 issue of Super Ford magazine, in the "Wild Stangs" section. His "Stang" has won him over 250 awards including five "Best Of Show".
