project car is one bad ass 'Stang!
What is Pro Millennium? Basically its an idea that Summit Racing has come up with
which defines what a performance car should be. Basically the rules for P2K are as
follows... The car has to handle like its on rails, no skinnies up front. Bad
ass small blocks are great, big blocks are even better. Superchargers, NOS and
hairdryers are a plus. Big bad stompers are a must, Discs at all corners. Also
things like full custom interiors, power steering, A/C, and roll cages are a must.
The whole idea behind this class of car is for it to be fast, around corners and in a
straight line, and to be fully streetable.... No trailer queens allowed!

Quikstang started out as a tired old beat up
95 Mustang GT convertible. It started out stock, but as you can see its nowhere near
stock anymore. To add "some" power to this stallion Summit added a fuel
injected 525 cubic inch aluminum big block. Tuned by Ken Duttweiler, the same guy
who builds and tunes many Pro 5.0 racer's engines. As if 525 cubes weren't enough
they added a Paxton Novi 2000 blower that pumps out 15 psi. At 15 psi this
puppy makes 958 hp at 6000 rpm, and makes an axle twisting 863 ft-lbs of torque at 5400
rpms. According to Duttweiler this combination will easily make over 1000 hp with 20
psi. Summit backed this baby with a Tremec TKO 5 speed and a Ford 9" rear end with
3.25 gears.
