1969 Mustang Boss 429 |
Lot: 1269
KK #1327 is one of the first 150 of 279 built with the rare 820-S NASCAR Motor. Some 20 things were built differently with the use of special parts. These included 1/2" bolt rods, forged steel crank, 429hp high nickel 4-bolt main block, original aluminum HEMI heads, forged rockers, staggered valvetrain, aluminum high rise intake, Holley carb and magnesium valve covers. All engine numbers are matching. This Candy Red rocket also has the close ratio 4-speed, 3.91 geared with traction-loc nodular iron dif carrier. The engine bay and undercarriage have been completely detailed and this concours restoration was done with all the correct date codes, chalk and grease pencil marks, decals and stickers. The door has the special vehicle ID tag, KK sticker. Copies of both KK and Ford invoices as well as verifiable owner/title histories are available. The car has been certified by the Marti Report and inspected by Ed Meyers, SAAC Head Judge with over 25 years experience. KK #1327 has only 19,980 original miles on the odometer. The original owner of the car will be there at the show. Own a piece of motor racing history.
