trq converter EAT the hp ?

05 mustang GT ( auto ) with :

- cmop stag2 cams.
- 3.73 ratio
- headers
- exust Borlla :lala
- program predator :dunno ?????????????????????????
- roush pulleys
- Meizer Electric Water Pump

I'm putting down 314hp and 311trq ( I think it's fine ) no spray

And then:

- 3000 trq stall ( TCI )
- Autolites 1 degree colder for the zex

dyno again and I was surprised 275hp and 265trq no spray

after modifying the parameters with that ( SEGA ) predator flash device it goes up to 280hp 

is true that the trq converter reduce the hp on dyno ?
Any advice of using that flash device ( predator ) ?

That's not really that much for what you have done to it! That's about the RWHP of a stock '05+ Stang. From the experiments we have done with my cousin's '95 Z28 Camaro we know that a torque converter does make a big difference. We have been through three torque converters on his car already since the new transmission swap and each time we noticed a little increase in power (we switched to higher stalls each time). I don't know if they make that big of a difference though. There might be a way to make up for this with your Predator by changing shift points etc. but I am not familiar with this flash device.

trq converter

I've got one of the Predator tuners that I use on my 06. It has three preset tunes for 87 octane, 91 octane and 93 octane. In addition it has a section to reset the EECIV parameters. You can remap the fuel curve, reset the timing. change shift points on the transmission, reset the RPM limiters, disable the speed limiter, set the idle speed and a host of other options. Just follow the directions in the owners manual .
