CDC is sizzling with their most exciting product - the all glass roof for the 05 Mustang. This expansive piece of glass that runs from the b-pillar to the c-pillar is their “kick off product” for a GLASSBACK series of components. With CDC being well known for their styling additions for the 94-04 Mustangs, it was natural to carry the legacy on with the 05 Mustang, this time taking it to the limit, the limits being the GLASSBACK roof. If you desire the look of the coupe but also want the open air feel the GLASSBACK is the answer.
The GLASSBACK is the beginning to an endless option of components. C-pillar scoops start the line up of components. Yes scoops, various styles to fit the design objectives of all enthusiasts from the retro appeal of traditional louvers to slick flat flush scoops that invisibly mount to the c-pillar, an engineered mounting system that maintains high quality fit, finish and appearance.
From the scoops to an aggressive chin spoiler that finishes the performance stance of the front end, without adding visual weight to this muscle car.
The hood is left alone in the current series of products, except for three varieties of scoops that were strategically designed to complement the c-pillar scoops. Again CDC has used their traditional styling cues to create design that complement not compete with the current style of the vehicle.
CDC has brought their ever famous sequential system to add to the GLASSBACK series of components. Again sequencing from the inboard light out while the blinker is on and sequencing once and staying solid when the brake is applied.
From the taillights to the rear spoiler, the CDC rear deck spoiler follows the exact line of the truck and then finishes in a duct tail fashion.
The interior was not completely ignored. CDC will also debut a gauge pod system that huddles in between the two arches of the dash and sits OE style, resulting in a gauge pod that is easy to see without ruining the flow of the interior.
The Glassback lineup will start out strong and will continue to grow as winter turns to Spring and Spring turns to Summer….keeping the sizzle throughout the year.
