It doesn`t matter.
I have stock Hondas messing with me all the time.
Just look at the fools and stick your finger up your nose and sneer.

Yea i think you're right, no matter what you do you'll still get a bunch of idiots trying to race you. You could have a Pro 5.0 car and some kid in a stock Corolla would want to race you.

Best gadget for rice burners

So youd like to scare off the rice burners huh. No matter what kind of exhaust you have they wont leave you alone. Im running bbk full-length headers, bbk off-road h-pipe, into flowmasters. Sounds good yet they still like to piss with me. Well for about $500 you can purchase electic exhaust cutouts. I had mine mounted right after my header flanges and it is by far the funnest mod ive done to my car. So many times ive been minding my own business on the bypass when a little fast and furious terd comes up beside me with their fart cannons. I simply slack back about two car lengths, flip the switch and floor it up to their front bumper and then back out. The looks I get are priceless. You can get them from dougs headers but theirs are a bit bulky for tucking under a mustang. I went with a set out of jegs. Lifetime warranty and perfect seal. It was definitely worth the money. I cant go under an overpass or down a country road without opening them up.

As for needing 400hp, i have to disagree. To beat most kids in hondas all you need is a stock Mustang. I used to beat civics left and right in a totally stock 225 hp Mustang GT....oh and did i mention it was an automatic with 2.73 rear gears? That's not saying there aren't fast civics out there, but i've found that the majority have nothing more than fart mufflers.
Dont forget about their cold air intakes and dollar store sticker packages

Cheapest way out- Keep the Flowmasters, Mac shorties($159), and gut the cats(free). And be sure to run the ricers from a dig. FWD is for girls.

I agree...MOST rice burners...I say Most are just a thin lowered heap of metal with nothing more than that God Awful Fart sounding muffler....

I live close to a busy road and thatís all I ever hear...and its stupid to see them barely moving but that fart noise makes them cool somehow in their own mind....Rev up a muscle car when you pass my house any time and I'll actually enjoy the sound...drive your Honda with a coffee can for a muffle by and I just want to shoot their tires out....

Sorry thatís a sore subject with me..

To tell you the truth absolutely no one has ever tried racing my brother when he's out in his car. Not even one fart machine. He has a '65 Stang with a mean rake, fatties on the back, and skinnies on the front. It has a 5.0 out of an '85 GT that he rebuilt with all aftermarket performance parts and Ford Racing Camzilla Cam and he is running OPEN full length headers all the time. You cannot hear a thing when your sitting inside this car and it feels like your in a vibrating massage chair. The last time a ricer pulled up to him my brother chucked a couple of revs at the poor kid and he put on his blinker and turned right. I don't even think the kid wanted to go right he just wanted no part of a REAL car (it was a 300zx i think).

first ricers souldn't be a big concern to the mustang community but the guy 2 up was on the right track. I would use some sort of mufflers (flowmaster single chambers), atleast an E cam then some M/T 28in streat slicks, drill the front strunts and a 10 foot chute

but then I would be the definition of a squirrel
