Tire pressure crises

Hey,

I just got some cobra R rims with 235/45's , and don't really know how low I can go. Or what should I run in em? I live in Maine, so we have plenty of pot holes, and I'm looking to run a nice low pressure.

Thanx!

A normal tire pressure is around 32-35 psi, but all cars are different. I wouldnt go too low on the tire pressure as it will cause excess tire wear on the outer edges, and too much pressure will wear the center of the tire prematurely. Your wheel/tire supplier should be able to give you an exact tire pressure to use on those tires with your car. For now 32 should be a good starting point.
