what about a pair of 351w heads? what would i get from that? a buddie of mine thats kinda old school told me they used to just bolt 351w heads on 302's back in the 80's. 8) it will prolly be hard to find the 351 heads and will be a lil more expencive.

yes, if your were to be able to find a 1969-1971 set of 351w heads that would be great. they have a 60cc chamber and have larger ports for more air flow. there the best stock head you can use on a 302 build, the only problem is finding them. a set of 289's are alot easier to come up with, i put a link below to a page on ebay. look throught there and see what you find.
