94 mustang Gt 5.0 Only rev to 3k ??

ello To All
MY ride is A 1994 MUSTANG gT 5.0 M 5 Speed
Runs very hot like almost ready to overheat.
I can spin the wheels out in all gears up to 6k for about 3 mins.
Then car WILL NOT spin at all and will only rev`s up to 3k or so through all gears??
IF I RESTART CAR Turn Key OFF THEN BACK ON Car IT RUNs FINE For 3 Minutes. Then The Trouble starts all Over. The whole time the idle is steady Car never cut off
When I pull the vac line off the Fuel Pressure Regulator
I hear the vac pulling no changes in motor sound or idle?

Car has NO check lights ON yes they do work
replaced the fuel pump, Roter, cap, plugs, wires, Fuel Filter,
Throttle Position Sensor, Air Filter Changed both radiator hoses and the thermostat 195 temp
ANY Help would Be Great and A big Help Thanx SN95Fox

Ummmm, kinda not clear what's going on. Your shifting the car at 6 krpms all the time? Or the car runs fine for 3 minutes no matter how you drive it.. Can the fuel regulator vapor lock? Maybe clean up the MAF sensor? Also, there may be a code stored without a light, so may be worth a look.

Yea that's the first place I'd start. Check the computer codes and see what comes up. Hopefully it'll point you in the right direction.

You say that it runs like it's going to overheat, but is it overheating or does it just seem to be overheating? Does the gauge go up? Does the electric fan kick in when it gets that hot?

Thank 4 the replys
The fan is kickn on. Car will overheat after 20 mins or so but will idle all day with out overheating.

When I first start the car it runs great Will spin tires in all four grears and will shift out at 5k and up gets there quick too.. then 3 mins later the car will not spin tires at all and shifts will not climb over 3k ..I can stop or be rolling and turn key OFF then ON car runs and revs fine For 3 mins.
idle is steady Car never cuts off

Could this be due to the distributor?
Today I replaced the fuel regulator still runs the same...
replaced the fuel pump, Roter, cap, plugs, wires, Fuel Filter, Throttle Position Sensor, Air Filter, coil
