He's talking about the diagram above. You can click on it to see it larger. If you have some pics of what the back of the lower manifold looks like try posting them. You can attach images to your post. (where it says Add and Attachment)

Ok, its a .gif, can't open it, but thats ok, i have the same in a chilton manual.
This morning I was prepared to go back to square one, and pull the manifold off and put it all back together, but found lower right nut on the throttle body loose, so I tightened it up, and almost back to normal, itles at 8, but just a little rough, should I disconnect the Battery and reset again?

Is there any way of seeing where the other side of it goes?

No, can't see anything that could connect to.

Well I've got the diagram below, but it's the same as what is usually in the engine compartment and I'm not sure how helpful it'll be.

I don't have a fox body in front of me right now so it's hard to say for sure where that goes. If you can wait a few days I may be able to get a hold of my brother's fox and see if I can locate that hose.

Mike,
That hose is the bad guy. I finally went to a trusted local mechanic, and he did a smoke test, and it was that hose. The reason I could not see the other end was, it was curled up under the manifold.
problem solved.
