I dont know what it is, but it definately looks better to me without the Shelby lettering. I think that huge lettering makes it look cluttered and gaudy.

Chevy going down hill!

Chevy just isn't listening to it's customers, and here's just another nail in the coffin. Congrats to Ford and SVT!!

I'm not sure what is with chevy. They always seem to take so long to come out with anything, then when they do its overpriced and lacks character. The redesign of the Corvette really doesnt excite me, and the ZO6 is way too expensive.

Ford has dominated Chevy when it comes to performance cars since the early-90s and even back in the 60s and 70s (including when the Mustang II outsold the Camaro). Chevy just doesn't seem to know what to do. Besides their Corvette, nothing in their lineup is worthwhile, and god forbid trying to get one of those Z06s with that steep 70-75 thousand bucks you have to pay for the **** things. All of the other performance SS models just don't have what it takes to actually be worth anyone's time. Malibu SS is just too plain ugly, the Silverado SS looks somewhat nice, but is very slow for the 35 grand is costs, the Cobalt SS is just unreliable rice, the SSR is definitely overpriced and just agravates me to the point of insanity (LOL), the upcoming Monte Carlo and Impala which both are hideous, and the Trailblazer SS which is about the only semi-cool one of the bunch and I'm sure that'll cost a load of money too. And now they want a retro-Camaro. By the time they release it, it'll be WAY too late and even if it isn't, the Mustang will kill its sales numbers as always.

cobra 2007

After waiting for so long to see the Cobra......they made it into a Shelby. i was hoping for something different, since i am waiting to purchase a Cobra. The front end looks funny, i realy don't like it. Looks the same as the GT. However, the rest of the car looks ago.

The performance on this car is gonna rock. I do have some gripes though.
1.fog lights-they should be put in the middle of the grille
2.side scoops/vents- ones that actually work or just for looks
3.rear quarter window scoops
4.tail lights- longer like the 67 & 68 GT500's the lights on there now are
exactly like the GT's. Thats poor!
5.reverse lights- should be moved to the lower rear spoiler/bumper
6.wheels- look more like the original shelby 10 spoke or newstalgia GT or
FR500's. All 19-20"s with spinner caps. I don't see why ford
does not put bigger wheels, saleen has them.
7.camshaft covers- should read COBRA powered by SVT
8.steering wheel- more like the Shelby wood grain wheel
9.interior-the red has got to go. i was hoping they would do something
more similar to the 04 Cobra. suede is great, no sticky or hot
seats in the summer
10.Reduce weight- fiberglass, aluminum, carbon fiber

IF YOU ARE GONNA CALL THIS CAR A SHELBY THEN IT SHOULD FIT THE PART. NOT JUST SOME GT WITH A DIFFERENT FASCIA AND BIGGER MOTOR. I AM A DIE HARD SHELBY FAN AND I DON'T WANT TO SEE THE NAME BE WORTH NOTHING. I JUST CANT SEE CARROLL SHELBY JUST SELLING OUT HIS NAME LIKE THAT. SHELBYS WERE ALWAYS THE PRESTIGE OF THE MUSTANGS WITH PERFORMANCE AND LOOKS. SO FORD SHOULD STEP UP AND NOT MAKE A GT WITH A BIGGER MOTOR AND CALL IT A SHELBY. THIS CAR SHOULD BE SET APART FROM ALL THE OTHER 05 MUSTANGS IN LOOKS. IT DOES HAVE THE PERFORMANCE
I WILL GIVE THEM CREDIT FOR THAT.

I don't know what the color is called (i'll look around to see if i can find out) but i can say that it looks alot darker in the pictures put out by Ford when the car was released than it really is.
