I dont have the slightest idea. It sounds unique but that doesnt necessarily mean it will have any type of collector value. |

1980 mustang what would be the value of the car restored condition. I would hate to put a lot of money into the car and the value would be poor. As I said the car has been sitting in the barn for a long time there is a lot of work that is needed which I don't mind. I am worried that I will not find parts for the car and be sitting there with a incomplete vehicle that it would make it totally useless. |

It's possible that Mclaren did do the convertible top on that one, as Mclaren did make convertible "Mclaren" Mustangs of the time. Sounds like a keeper. |

1980 mustang convertible I received a 1980 mustang convertible from my father in law recently and was wondering if any body has a convertible of that year? He had told me that a company named McClaren did the convertible job but not sure. I did not see any thing that says McClaren on it and I did not see any blue book value on this since they did not make the convertible in that year. Also the car is in fair shape since it has been in a barn since 91. would any body know the value of this year car. Also where can I find parts for the car as well. |
