For something like this I'd say you're probably going to have to goto a junk yard, and find an explorer with the right setup and start tearing it apart to see how everything is put together. I'm certain the air boxes and stuff are different so any temperature sensors that are in there will probably have to be custom mounted in your airbox. You'll also need to figure out the wiring which will be a feat in itself. Good luck with the project and let us know how it turns out. |

EATC - for new Mustangs Ford decided not to have Electronic Automatic Temperature Control (EATC) for the Mustang to keep the price down, but I would like to upgrade to this feature. Either by getting some of the parts from Explorers or such or maybe ordering some of the parts new. I know I can't just swap out the head unit to achieve this and it requires temperature sensors and more. Does any one know what it all entails, if it is possible, and what would be a checklist of tasks to accomplish this? |
