Virusxyz I went to Planet Ford in Houston, TX to order one. The dealer said it would be a $10,000 non-refundable security deposit and would be sold for $80,000.

Thats a bit out of my price range and I'm hoping that the MSRP of mid 40"s is real and that most dealers won't be gouging like this one is.

quick5pnt0 $47,440

BTW That price included a Shaker 1000 audio system ($1200), a trim package which includes leather door and dash inserts, auto dimming rearview mirror, and aluminum pedals ($795), Sirius satellite radio ($495), gas guzzler tax (est $3000), and destination charge ($626).

quick5pnt0 LOL, yea thats the problem. If you get one on ebay it'll be like $70K I LOVE Mustangs but for that price i'd rather buy a used Viper.

I'm sure if you give it a couple of years used GT500's will be going for a decent price. After the next big thing comes out you might be able to get one for a great price.

Doc Coffin Not horrible for a 500 hp car.
Less than a Vette or Viper.
Now, if only we could get it for MSRP.
Maybe by next year, Ford will be discounting them like they did on the T-Bird.
