87hybrid Yeah, I'm thinking it'll vibrate shake and rattle something awful without it, which would surely cause some premature/excess wear down the road.

quick5pnt0 I'm just speculating because I've never tried it without but I'd assume it would cause some sort of chatter without it.

Anti rattle Spring on toploader

How essential is the antirattle spring on a 289 toploader? I just bought on for like $10 and the dang thing broke when I was trying to get it through the forks! Looks like a waste to me, but then again...I really want this clutch set to last.
