Norse1974 Yeah I guess you could say Im stepping off into the deep end now!LOL!Im having a built long block done with all forged internals, worked over heads & all my bolt ons put back on!Yhe reason why,,Im gonna up the NO2 from 125 to a 250-300 shot! I figured since I was already into the heads why not look into the cams?I picked up a set of Steeda delete plates with NO2 bung holes already in them also. She is gonna be a bad Mammy Jammy!LOL!The cool thing is that she will still be a street car on motor! We are figuring 400-450 at the flywheel on motor.

quick5pnt0 Well I know they'll make the car sound awesome, but I'm not sure if they'll make the power at too high of an rpm for a street car. According to their website the stage 3 cams make power between 2500-7000+ rpms, but I suspect the bulk of the power will be at the higher end of that scale.

I really think the best thing would be to contact Crower and see what they recommend. Of course if you're getting them cheap enough and are planning on going with an even more radical setup then maybe it's worth the plunge?

These aren't '05s but at least you can get an idea of what the car sounds like with stage 3 cams. ... 29a9a4.htm
