89notchstang oh awwwright i wont be cheap..gettin the steeda kit...i need a second job just for the stang i think

quick5pnt0 I believe you can use the stock cable if you get a firewall adjuster but personally I'd suggest just getting a new cable anyway. No sense pulling everything apart to have your old cable snap a month later.

Mike23386 You are better off getting the whole Steeda kit. The first link you gave is a knockoff but the second one is real. Dynamic makes good products but I bought a cable from them and somehow it seized and broke. The blue Steeda floor model they are selling in the second link is better. I think the adjustable cables are longer than the non-adjustables.

quick5pnt0 I'm still running the stocker but I've heard good things about the Steeda unit as well.

Mike23386 I went with Steeda's kit and I think it's great. You can adjust the cable down at the fork by tightening the nut on the cable or you can adjust with the knob on the firewall. I have had it for a few years with no problems.

quadrant

you guys have any opinions or personal preferences on quadrants?? im still running a stick clutch, obviously putting in a billet quad, but whats the deal with the adjustable quad with the knob that goes on the firewall vs. the kits with an adjustable cable? i was told the knobs wear out faster.. opinion?? and where do you do the actual adjusting on the "adjustable cable" kits
